New treatment: Silhouette Soft Lift with Dracula Therapy™

The next generation of non-surgical lift for the face and neck.

There are many factors that contribute to us looking older including gravity, lack of good quality collagen, loss of fat and a decrease in bone density. Whether we want to treat the face or the neck surgical routes are invasive, expensive and have associated risk factors, plus the results are not permanent. Non-surgical options can give good results but the effects are also temporary and will need more regular maintenance.

Now there’s a new method: The Silhouette Soft Lift provides an alternative and when combined with Dracula Therapy™ will combat the signs of ageing, restore smoother, toned skin and give more definition by lifting and regenerating. This treatment is suitable for the face and the neck.

The Silhouette lift effect is both immediate & discreet.

The Silhouette Lift is performed in my clinic as an outpatient procedure. The procedure is minimally invasive and only requires a local anaesthesia.

I use Silhouette Soft® suspension sutures. After a local anaesthetic, I will insert the sutures into the skin using a fine needle. The suture is held in place as it has absorbable cones along its length. After inserting the suture, a slight pressure is applied to the treated area – this reshapes the surface of the skin and makes it visibly smoother.

Results are immediate and the effects last for around 18 months.

Silhouette Soft® sutures have FDA approval and are used in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, since 2007 more than 20,000 Silhouette Lift® procedures have been carried out successfully. Silhouette Soft® sutures are produced in the USA, they are made from polylactic acid (PLA), which is biodegradable and has been used by the medical field for many years.

The Dracula Therapy (PRP) regenerative effect is gradual & natural

Dracula Therapy involves taking a small sample of blood, which is then run through a process of centrifugation. This separates it into red blood cells, clear serum and platelets. Once the sutures are in place I will inject the serum into different layers of the skin, this will naturally stimulate the production of collagen, DNA repair, healing scars and making lacklustre skin look and feel younger and more radiant.

Results of Dracula Therapy are noticeable within 3-4 weeks and the effects generally last around six months.

Risks, side effects & downtime

As with many cosmetic treatments patients may experience some swelling, redness or bruising, but these are generally minimal. If you have any concerns please contact my office. Patients generally experience no downtime and get back to work and socialising immediately.
