Looking ahead to 2014

drsister_new_headshotIn the world of aesthetic medicine each new year brings further developments and progress, as well as its own set of challenges.  As I write this in December 2013, I already know that 2014 is set to be a very busy year, so here’s a quick taster of some of the events I’m looking forward to.

I’ve already filmed a number of TV appearances which will be broadcast in 2014. The first to go on air will be for the new series of Last Chance Salon, which has now been re-named Extreme Beauty Disaster. I demonstrated how Dracula Therapy™ can help patients who have had cosmetic procedures that have gone wrong. The series starts on January 2nd 2014 on the TLC Channel (Sky 125, Virgin 167) and I should be in episodes 7 and 9.

The second TV appearance I’ve filmed is for the BBC, this time for a new show that will hopefully be on air in April. I was interviewed about the aesthetic industry in general and the presenter was filmed having a session of Dracula Therapy. I’ll let you know more, including the confirmed broadcast date, as soon as I can.

It’s looking like May is set to be a busy month, as it’s also the release date for Your Hormone Doctor, a book I’ve co-written with Susie Rogers and Leah Hardy. Published by Penguin, the book is set to come out on May 8th 2014, and is already listed on Amazon and available for pre-order now. Aimed at women aged 35 and upwards, the book takes a look at how you can stay fitter, happier and younger for longer by taking control of your hormones.

I’m looking forward to my live demonstrations of Dracula Therapy at The Anti-Ageing Show this May. The show is happening on 10th & 11th May at London’s Olympia, and my live Dracula Therapy demonstrations will take place on both days, so there’s no excuse to miss it. Find out more, including how to book tickets, by visiting The Anti Ageing Show website.

As you may know already, I currently train other medical professionals in Dracula Therapy (PRP) via training courses with Wigmore Medical. What’s new for 2014 is that I will now be training in the USA. Starting in the next few months, the training courses will take place in Los Angeles. All in all a great excuse to see some sunshine and promote Dracula Therapy across the pond! I’ll let you know dates and locations as soon as I can.

All in all 2014 is set to be a busy year and one I’m looking forward to. In the meantime, let’s all take a well earned rest over the holiday period.

Happy New Year!

With best wishes,

Dr Sister.
